Jan Dash works as the Managing Partner of Dash and Associates and divides his time between New York and Saint Kitts-Nevis. Jan has considerable experience in the areas of Corporate Law, the Law of Foundations, International Insurance, Trusts Law, Private Clients and Real Estate Transactions and has published several articles on these areas of law. He is a contributor to The Trident Practical Guide for Offshore Trusts, Asset Protection: Domestic and International Law and Tactics and the Financial Products and Private Banking sections of LawInContext.com and frequently speaks at international financial services conferences.

He is a Member of the Bars of the State of New York, the Federation of Saint Kitts-Nevis and the Territory of the British Virgin Islands and is a founding Member and past Chair of the Nevis Chapter of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (“STEP”) and the President of the Nevis International Service Providers Association (“NISPA”). Jan has worked in the international financial services industry for leading trust companies in the British Virgin Islands, Bermuda and Barbados.

Jan was educated in the United States and received his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University Law School in 1994. He was also educated in Trinidad and received his Certificate of Legal Education from Sir Hugh O. B. Wooding Law School in 1997.

Jan is a natural English speaker and is conversant in Spanish.
